They misspelled my name on my check but got my girlfriends right?

ok heres my issue, the stupid apartment mispelled my name on the check for return of my security deposit, but my girlfriends name is on it correctly... but it only says and not and/or... and she dont have an account at the bank where it was issued... but can she still cash it at the bank it was issued from?...
